What is a UK Visa Renewal?

UK visa renewal is a further extension of your existing leave to enter or remain within the same visa category. If you are already in the UK with limited leave to enter or remain, it may be possible to apply for renewal/extension of your stay for a further period of time as stipulated in the UK Immigration Rules.
